A 1973 graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Hamilton went on to perform his residency in pediatrics at the University of Minnesota Medical School in 1976. He followed this up with a fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Children’s Hospital/Boston Medical Center from 1976 until 1978.

A Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), the doctor is board-certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology by the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). The mission of the ABP is to advance child health by certifying pediatricians who meet standards of excellence and are committed to continuous learning and improvement.
